Do you love animals? Are you looking for a new, engaging career? Maybe it's time to consider pet grooming. You can get the start you need at Terri's Pet Styling School. Our pet grooming school will give you everything you need to start your grooming career. Our course covers:
- Pet handling
- Pet styling
- AKC and pet trimming for each breed (including cats)

Our Hands-On Training Curriculum
Pet grooming isn't a theoretical practice. It requires real, hands-on work. That's why our curriculum focuses on giving you real experience with real pets. 95% of the course is hands-on, and you'll get to work with all breeds and temperaments to make sure you're ready for the job.
- Bathing, force drying, and cleaning
- Shave downs and scissoring
- Animal health problems (by breed)
- Animal behavior (by breed)
- Animal parasite recognition and removal
- Grooming tool usage and maintenance
- Ear cleaning
- Nail clipping
- Teeth brushing
- Animal first-aid
- Grooming of all breeds and mixed breeds
- Basic business operation
Course Fees and Certifications
With the program at Terri's Pet Styling School, you will be ready to start your career. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a certificate. You can use this certificate to show your qualifications. The course lasts for 13 weeks, running Tuesday through Friday, from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM.
The tuition for the course is $4,800. This includes a $300 registration fee. For your convenience, a monthly payment schedule is available with a 4% interest or finance charge added. Monthly payments would be $1,170 starting on the first day of the course.
